Your data is your customers! Data is the key to your profit, which makes managing your dealership data properly, so important. Learning to extract your own dealership data to then build campaigns with it, will not only save you money, it will make you money.
I oversee Halterman’s Automotive Group’s Internet department and much of my focus has been on marketing, and ways to cut our spending as well as maximize our opportunities. The one thing I’ve noticed in the industry, is that many dealerships are spending money to have someone else extract their own data. And then they let them download it and use it to market. Have you ever really stopped to say what the heck are they doing? Well I did and I have found a solution that could not only help your store but also make your team love you for really looking like a hero.
It’s so important for you to learn how to extract your customer data. Once you extract the data, you can then take that data and use it across multi-marketing channels to create not only a better customer engagement but a more transparent ROI. You can follow your data through Google Analytics, into the CRM, and watch it as it flows out as a car deal.
In my session at the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo, I’ll show you some of the areas where our data is used, including Facebook, direct mail, email, voicemail and even call lists. I’ll show you campaigns that are created for Facebook and why we have been able to keep costs down. I will go over how you can cut out the middle man of direct mail, email, and even reach customers in masses. Your BDC or sales people don’t have anyone to call? That is AWESOME! I will show you how to create call lists so precise even the government can’t keep up. (Just kidding… don’t want to be on a watch list.)
