These enhancements allow dealers who list their pre-owned inventory on UsedCars.com to maximize the consideration for their cars while also enhancing the consumer website experience.
Vehicle videos will be created from existing photos with a human voice over describing the car using the specifics provided by the dealer and will also include dealer branding. The introduction of vehicle videos on UsedCars.com will satisfy the growing demand for a multi-media experience that gives car buyers a better sense for the pre-owned vehicles they are interested in.
Contextual spotlight ads provide additional exposure for dealer inventory in high-traffic areas of UsedCars.com. On the search results page of UsedCars.com Dealix will highlight participating dealers’ inventory that is relevant to buyers based on their search criteria. On their vehicle detail pages, dealers can spotlight vehicles they want to sell the most or allow UsedCars.com to automatically highlight their aged inventory. These ads will also emphasize dealership brands to increase awareness among local car buyers.
Both new features will not alter a dealer’s ability to list their inventory on UsedCars.com at no charge and only pay for the leads they receive from the UsedCars.com Network.
