She and her husband own the Long of Chattanooga Auto Dealerships, which includes Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Hyundai franchises. Long is the founder of Prize Corporation, which produced ReckonUp CRM solutions. ReckonUp CRM was acquired by izmocars in 2007. Long was one of the first four women chosen by GM to become a dealer as part of GM Women Minority Dealer Development Program and was an adjunct professor at the University of TN in the Chattanooga School of Engineering.
