INDIANAPOLIS – J.D. Byrider, the nation’s leading used car and finance company, is pleased to announce a promotion and the addition of three new team members to support the company’s franchise growth and development.
Jack Humbert has been promoted to the position of Director of Franchise Development. In his two years at J.D. Byrider, Humbert assisted development efforts as a Senior Franchise Consultant. In his new role, Humbert will be integral to the franchising team by leading and cultivating new growth and maintaining relationships with current store operators.
“This promotion is aligned with our strategy of expanding the number of franchisees within our system and providing field-facing support to our existing franchise community to enable them to expand their footprint,” said Tom Welter, Vice President of Franchising. “Jack brings to us a tremendous amount of experience with banking relationships and operational excellence and has applied those disciplines to our franchisees in a consultant role over the past two years. I am excited about having him on my development team, helping us to continue our accelerated growth.”
Prior to J.D. Byrider, Jack was a district market manager for Wells Fargo and a graduate of University of Pittsburgh. He resides in Pittsburgh, Penn., with his wife Daria and three daughters.
Andrew Cavallaro has joined the Dealer Services team as a Key Account Manager and will be responsible for lead exchange and analytics for services offered to franchisees.

Byrider Dealer Services group is to partner with our franchisees to help them sell more vehicles as profitably as possible while ensuring that our customers have great satisfaction in their sales and service experience,” said Welter. “Andrew is a key leader in that equation bringing a wealth of knowledge regarding the customer experience from one of the nation’s largest retailers, Best Buy, and we are excited to have him on our field-facing team.”
Andrew comes to J. D. Byrider with experiences in sales team leadership and a background in financial analysis. He is a 2009 graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
David Borshoff and David McMahon
David Borshoff and David McMahon recently joined J.D. Byrider as franchise consultants. Both will be responsible for supporting J.D. Byrider franchisees, advising for operational and financial improvement, and building leadership teams in each region.

David Borshoff joined J.D Byrider in 2003 and previously held the position of Director of Service and Vendor Relations for the Company Stores division. Prior to J.D. Byrider, Borshoff worked with two large automotive parts distribution companies in various management and development positions and has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. David is a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served during Desert Storm and attended the University of Maryland-Community College of the Air Force in San Vito, Italy.
Prior to joining J.D. Byrider in 2009 as a staff auditor, David McMahon worked for American General Financial Services gaining valuable experience in automotive finance sales, underwriting and collections. A graduate of Butler University, McMahon was a two-time team captain of the university’s football team where he was named to the 2006 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame National Honor Society. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two dogs and is an active volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
