According to Ad Age, after a year-long celibacy from the hallmark social media venue, General Motors has returned to Facebook’s paid advertising. Paid advertising makes up most of Facebook’s bread and butter, and Zuckerberg welcomed GM’s contribution back with open arms. Since the dismissal of CMO Joel Ewanik, who reportedly initiated GM’s feud with Facebook, the new social media campaign can move forward in full force. Chevrolet’s new mobile-advertising campaign will work hand-in-hand with Facebook’s mobile interfacing solutions.
