You’re standing at your booth with your boss breathing down your neck either physically or virtually. You’re under pressure to perform. Your job is, after all, to make sales or connections and bring ROI to the tens of thousands of dollars that your company spent to attend and exhibit. It can be pretty stressful. Just like cold-calling dealers, you will get more “yes’es” than “No” as you try to engage these dealers while they walk the exhibit hall aisles. Some will ignore you completely while others may simply say “No, thanks.” So, what do you do?
Some will get aggressive. Pushy. Even downright annoying to dealers. In this 2-part session, Frank J. Lopes will begin by sharing his experience, and the feedback dealers have provided to him, surrounding the behavior of how vendors interact with dealers and what generates interest versus what generates disinterest.
In the second part of the session, Arnold Tijerina will share how vendors can be aggressive without being pushy or annoying but still accomplish their goal of driving traffic into their booth, showing their product or service and ultimately leaving the conference in the black.
This official Digital Dealer Conference exhibitor session is intended to assist its vendors and help their staff in getting the most out of the company’s investment by providing feedback from past conferences as well as advice from a long-time Digital Dealer Conference veteran to ensure that exhibitors get the ROI they need to have a successful show while the dealers get the information they need to succeed.
