The 2018 NADA Show was held this year in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. The show has always held tremendous value for everyone in the automotive industry from dealers, dealership managers and employees, as well as industry vendor partners and exhibitors, and this year was no different. The exhibit hall was packed and, like usual, many companies invested a ton of money into not only displaying their brand but also in providing top-notch entertainment and nightlife to attendees. This year included Lenny Kravitz brought in by TradeRev, Chicago brought in by The Warranty Group, and 38 Special brought in by AutoAlert. One first was Dealer Inspire who actually had live karaoke at their booth.
Many loyal Digital Dealer partners were in attendance and from their feedback the show was a great success with dealers engaging with exhibitors and even making decisions at the show. We know that, when approached right, dealers are open to listening to new solutions and making instant decisions and engagement was spot-on.
The educational sessions provided by NADA for dealer attendees was also first-class with keynotes by University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban, 2017 NADA Chairman Mark Scarpelli, Waymo CEO John Krafcik, AutoNation CEO & President Mike Jackson, NADA President & CEO Peter Welch, and 2018 NADA Chairman Wes Lutz, all culminating in an incredible keynote by former SEAL Team Six Leader Robert O’Neill. And these were only the keynotes!
